In the debate on immigration I think it is extremely counterproductive that we spend so much money keeping out a Mexican workforce that is able and willing to work hard. Why not use the money used the secure the Mexican/American border to offer tax incentives for companies who wil promote business in Mexico. Economics will dictate where people migrate to. The only way we can stop illegal immigration is to promote the Economic growth of Mexico. For the U.S. it would be a win-win situation. Companies who outsource to Mexico will have a cheaper labor force. Mexicans will have well paying jobs working for American companies and money spent on securing the borders from illegal immigrants will not be wasted.
