Sound in Sound
Just as picture in picture where you can view two channels on one screen., why not sound in sound?
Just imagine, a prtable device that plays two items, NPR and you favorite Beatles song, or U2 and Madonna -
You can choose which one can be the louder song.
It would allow you to listen to a book on tape and listen to background music.
